This painting feels to me like a glimpse into another dimension. I sense it might exist somewhere, though it hasn’t yet been discovered. The scene reflects the landscape of my inner world. In the left middle of the painting, I placed a sofa that symbolizes a small space where I feel most comfortable. I painted it cloudy or opaque, perhaps to represent feelings that don’t exist or are made of tears—but I leave the interpretation open. The ethereal and surreal touch comes from the fishes I let fly in the sky. The contrast between crowded and spacious areas expresses the state of my mind.
